All About Wet Dreams

Boy’s wet dreams. Wet dreams are called ‘wet’ dreams because boys dream about having sex and ejaculating – and during the dream, whilst they are asleep they do actually get an erection and ejaculate, so that when they wake up their bed is ‘wet’ with their ‘come’, or a some people spell it ‘cum’. It is entirely normally and happens to most boys from puberty onwards. It may happen once a week or even more often, or it may not happen at all. Either way – it is all perfectly normal.

Do girls get wet dreams too? The answer is ‘yes’ and ‘no’. One study showed that just under half of all women seem to have experienced an orgasm during sleep by the time they were forty five years old. They usually started at around the time of puberty. The ‘No’ part is that they are not normally ‘wet’ – that is there is little to show for the experience in the morning. If you don’t know whether you have had one, or haven’t had one that is perfectly normal too.
